Authorized Assistant Certification in alberta

This one-day, in-person course is designed to prepare participants to safely perform pesticide applications as an Authorized Assistant without requiring daily onsite supervision from a Certified Pesticide Applicator.

The course covers the Canadian Pesticide Education Program Applicator Core Manual. Upon successful completion of the tutorial and exam, participants must also complete an Authorized Assistant Training Checklist with the Certified Pesticide Applicator they will be working under in accordance with Alberta’s Environmental Code of Practice.

Getting started is simple:

• Request the training through the “ENQUIRE HERE” button

• Discuss available dates

• Receive instructions on where to attend your 8-hour in person course

• Classes require a minimum of 8 participants to proceed

• Employer-hosted sessions are available with a minimum of 4 participants

Course pricing is straightforward:

• $210.00 per participant

• For employers outside the Calgary Metropolitan Area, travel for employer-hosted training is billed at $0.65 per km

• A $250 hotel and meal subsidy applies for locations 2+ hours from Calgary

• All prices are subject to GST
